On their data chart, Instagram Korea named the celebrities with the most followers on Instagram. Ranking in the first place is the superstar K-pop group BTS!

BTS uses their official Instagram account to update fans on comebacks, concerts, teasers and more. The members do not use the official BTS account and their management, Big Hit Labels, solely runs it.

Ranking in second place is BLACKPINK. The YG Entertainment girl group currently has 44 million followers and 1,299 posts. BLACKPINK’s official Instagram account only follows four people, all of them being the members’ individual accounts.

When YG Entertainment first set up BLACKPINK’s Instagram account, the members used it to update fans on their lives while also being an avenue for the company to announce news, new releases, teasers, comebacks and more.

However, since the members now have their own individual accounts, the BLACKPINK Instagram account is now solely run by YG Entertainment.

Third place went to soloist, IU. “The Nation’s Little Sister” has 24.1 million followers and has 611 posts. She currently follows 112 people on Instagram.

Unlike BLACKPINK and BTS, IU runs her own Instagram account and updates whenever she wants. The idol uses the account to share selfies, update fans on her daily life and promote her music. She also uses her Instagram account to share photos of her on set whenever she is filming. She even often posts photos of the coffee trucks sent to her!

Lastly, rapper Lee Youngji ranked in fourth place. Lee Youngji has 1.2 million followers on Instagram. She has 90 posts on her account and follows 587 people.

Unlike the other acts mentioned on this list, Lee Youngji is not an idol. Instead, she is a rapper who gained fame as a contestant on “High School Rapper 3.” Since then, she has achieved mainstream fame in South Korea. The rapper often shares selfies and teasers for her new music on Instagram. She also uploads wacky videos on her account!
