Kang Daniel's agency KONNECT Entertainment is reportedly closing down.

As of the morning of May 21st, the official website of the company is inaccessible. Korean media outlets also reported that approximately 20 employees of the company have been laid off or resigned recently, and contracts with all the agency's artists have also been terminated.

The agency's headquarters in Gangnam, Seoul, was reportedly cleared out earlier this year.

Kang Daniel established KONNECT Entertainment in June 2019 following the end of Wanna One's activities. Since then, the agency had signed GFRIEND's Yuju, dance crew WE DEM BOYZ, and more.

However, on May 20th, Kang Daniel announced that he had filed a complaint against a major shareholder of the agency on charges of forgery, embezzlement, breach of trust, and more.
