BLACKPINK Tops List for Fifth Consecutive Time as No. 1 Most Popular Girl Group in October 2022
Continuing their streak as the No. 1 most popular girl group for their fifth month in a row is none other than BLACKPINK!
According to the Korean Business Research Institute, the “Shut Down” singers had accumulated a total brand reputation index of 7,170,250 for the month of October this year. This includes a participation index of 538,356, a media index of 1,720,630, a communication index of 2,044,523, and a community index of 2,866,741.

BLACKPINK
Compared to their brand reputation index of 6,257,886 back in September, the four-piece girl group’s index for this month rose by 14.58 percent.
When it comes to their related terms, BLACKPINK’s highest related are “overwhelming,” “breakthrough,” and “long-run.” While their keyword analysis includes “Shut Down,” “concert,” and “Youtube.”
As for the group’s positive-negative ratio, BLACKPINK has a positive ratio analyzed to be at 89.83 percent.
Girls’ Generation, IVE Land on Top 3 as Most Popular Girl Groups in October 2022

For the month of October, Girls’ Generation’s brand reputation index reportedly amounts to 4,267,366, with a participation index of 140,012, a media index of 1,498,683, a communication index of 1,086,624, and a community index of 1,542,047.
Comparing to the “FOREVER 1” singers’ brand reputation index of 5,719,516 back in September, their index for October saw fell by 25.39 percent.
And finally, landing at third place for this month’s brand reputation rankings is the rookie girl group, IVE.

The Korean Business Research Institute notes that the “After LIKE” hitmakers closely follows behind Girls’ Generation with a brand reputation index of 4,143,670 for this month. This includes a participation index of 722,092, a media index of 1,078,305, a communication index of 1,241,618, and a community index of 1,101,655.
IVE’s brand reputation index saw a decrease of 32.60 percent as compared to their index of 6,147,776 back in September.
