On Nov. 29, Big Hit Music told media outlets including Newsis that Suga will present his own talk show, which will be titled “SUCHWITA.”

“SUCHWITA” is a play-on word combining Suga’s name with “Daechwita,” the title song of his mixtape “D-2” that was released back in May 2020. In Korea, the title looks like “슈 취 타,” which can be used to make the Korean phrase for “Time to drink with Suga.”
Additionally, “SUCHWITA” will be a talk show-style content in which the rapper meets people from various fields and they will enjoy drinks and music while having a conversation.

Big Hit Music added, “Suga will draw out the charm of the guests with his wide-ranging common sense and knowledge of music, as well as his sensible gestures, and will hold a talk that will make them fall in love the more they listen.”
On Nov. 28, a teaser for “SUCHWITA” was revealed through BTS’s official YouTube channel, BANGTANV. In the clip, Suga is seen pouring drinks and talking to a guest while his solo song “Daechwita” plays in the background.

Currently, Suga and his fellow BTS members are focusing on their solo activities. But prior to their temporary break as a group, the septet dropped their anthology album, “Proof,” on June 10. The album is filled with their previous hit songs, unreleased songs, demos, and more.

“Proof” also contains three new songs: “Yet to Come (The Most Beautiful Moment),” “For Youth,” and “Run BTS,” each of which fits into a different genre and carries a specific message.
As expected, Suga is one of the BTS members who participated in creating new songs. In particular, he is credited for co-writing the lyrics for all three new tracks, “Yet to Come,” “Run BTS,” and “For Youth.”

Apart from working with his bandmates, BTS Suga also collaborated with PSY this year for the latter artist’s ninth studio album “PSY 9th.” Specifically, the rapper worked with PSY on his albums’ title track “That That.” Suga not only produced the song but he’s also a featured artist, plus he even appeared in the music video for it.
During his appearance on “Knowing Bros,” PSY revealed that Suga was the one who contacted him saying he wanted to top off his producing project by giving him a song. The veteran singer added that Suga brought him the instrumental for “That That” and while talking about the track, the BTS member ended up featuring on it.

Shortly after its release, PSY’s “That That” (produced by & featuring BTS Suga) shot to the top of iTunes Song charts and its music video reached 100 million views in just seven days and 21 minutes after it came out on April 29.
