These five popular K-pop songs surprisingly do not have music videos!

1. BLACKPINK – ‘Pretty Savage’

“Pretty Savage” was released on October 2, 2020, as part of BLACKPINK’s first studio album, “THE ALBUM.” Despite not being a title song, “Pretty Savage” debuted in the top 100 of several countries, such as South Korea, Singapore, New Zealand, Malaysia, Canada, and Australia.

In the United States, “Pretty Savage” debuted at number 21 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Chart. “Pretty Savage” was so popular that it was used in the Netflix film “To All The Boys: Always and Forever” and was part of the soundtrack for the Brazilian telenovela “Quanto Mais Vida, Melhor!”

2. ENHYPEN – ‘Polaroid Love’

ENHYPEN released “Polaroid Love” on January 8, 2022, as a b-sidetrack to their repackaged album, “Dimension: Answer.” Though not the lead single from the album, “Polaroid Love” peaked at number 82 on the Billboard K-Pop Hot 100.

The song saw more success in the United States than in South Korea. In the United States, “Polaroid Love” peaked at number nine on the Billboard World Digital Songs chart. The song also peaked in the top 30 in Vietnam, Singapore, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

TWICE first performed “CRY FOR ME” at the 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards. Then, following demands from fans to release it as a single, TWICE released the song as a digital single on December 18, 2020. An English version was released on June 11, 2021, and was included in TWICE’s “Taste of Love” album.

“CRY FOR ME” peaked at the top of the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart, while it peaked at number 164 on the Gaon Digital Chart. In Japan, “CRY FOR ME” peaked at 87 on the Japan Hot 100. In addition, the song peaked in the top 15 in New Zealand and Singapore.

4. TXT – ‘Anti-Romantic’

Stray Kids released “Anti-Romantic” on May 31, 2021, as part of their second studio album, “The Chaos Chapter: Freeze.” The album contained three promoted singles, but “Anti-Romantic” was not one of them!

The song was a massive success, thanks to TikTok. As of writing, over 236,200 videos were made with the song. In addition, the song became a dance hit — despite being a slow, ballad-like song — after TikToker @irenedoll made a dance to the song. Her video has over 53 million views and 8.3 million likes.

5. NCT x aespa – ‘ZOO’

NCT members Taeyong, Jeno, Hendery, and Yanyang, alongside aespa member Giselle, released “ZOO” as part of SMTOWN’s “2021 Winter SMTOWN : SMCU EXPRESS” album on December 27, 2021.

Out of all of the songs from the album, “ZOO” is considered one of the most popular. In January 2022, the song ranked in the top ten of Spotify’s “Viral 50 – Global” chart. In addition, the stage video has garnered nearly 50 million views on YouTube, proving it is definitely a smash hit!
